- A:Answer Hello. Thanks for checking with us. We're sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the noise coming from the hood. We understand the inconvenience, and would like to offer some help. We recommend using a smaller duct pipe to reduce venting. It is important to minimize the duct run length and number of transitions and elbows. We recommend referring to the installation instruction starting on page 12 to troubleshoot: https://files.bbystatic.com/SIIlaP6Ajr9vobiQeMtxmA%3D%3D/0c442115-8f3d-445d-a4fe-ca0bfc8c2766.pdf. Q: QuestionIs slate color gray or stainless black?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hi there, this is a good question and we're happy to help. This dark matte finish is inspired by the rich texture of stone. The sides, case and accent parts are Dorian Gray (dark gray). With that said, we would most relate this color to a brown or gray. We hope you find this useful and we're wishing you the best. You'd make a great addition to our GEA family, so just let us know if you need anything else. - Guy@GEA

For help with this, we suggest cleaning your grease filter. To remove the filters: 1) Slide the filter using the tabs. 2) Pull the filter down and out. To clean the filters: 1) Soak them and the swish around in hot water and detergent. Allow the filter to dry completely before putting it back in place. 2) Light brushing may be used to help remove embedded soil and dust. 3) Do not use ammonia or ammonia products. 4) Dishwasher cleaning is acceptable, but may discolor the filter.
