• Mine does not stop when it reaches the desired RH, I can hear the compressor shutting but not the fan

• In my experience, it shuts off when the water bucket gets full. Other than that, it will keep running to maintain the humidity level of the room.

• Hi - This is a great question! Yes, the dehumidifier will run until it reaches your desired humidity level. The unit will then turn off and will come back on when the humidity level rises above your desired setting. We do hope you choose GE for your home. All our best! Vikki@GEA
