A:AnswerHi,
That's a good question! We appreciate your interest and we'd be more than happy to help. The filter on this model is located behind the front grille. This filter should be checked and cleaned at least every 30 days. Thanks for asking!

A:AnswerAfter turning on the AC I manually set it to 64 degrees and the room temperature began dropping. If you put it on Echo it will shut off at 64 degrees. However if you leave it on cool and high your room temperature can actually drop to 60 degrees. I hope this helps.

A:AnswerMost a/c units with high btu really need their own circuit breaker of minimum 20 amps. You might want to get an electrician to install several outlets for a/c units and one in the kitchen for new kitchen electric gadgets, they are high powered as well and will blow your breaker when you use with other appliances.
Hope that helps.
A:AnswerMe too!! ... i literally have used my brand new A/C about 10 times and now the filter light keeps blinking red ... so i did what GE said and took out the filter (which baaaaaarely had any lint/dirt on it but figured i would wash it anyway) ... so i let it dry, put it back in and the stupid filter light is STILL BLINKING RED ... why is this happening??? sooooo disappointing
A:AnswerHi Tasha - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are sorry to hear your air conditioner is not operating and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Window room air conditioners with a "Reset Filter" pad with LED will turn on when the fan has accumulated 250 hours of run time. This is to provide a reminder to clean the filter. Press Reset Filter to turn off the LED and reset the accumulated run time. Also, with models that have WiFi capability, you may see a red light is seen behind the filter on the right side of the unit. This is the status light on the internal WiFi module, and is just an indicator that the module is functioning. The air conditioner will still operate without WiFi connection. If it is not operating, press the Reset button located on the power cord plug. If the Reset button will not stay engaged, we suggest viewing the written warranty on page 17 of the Use and Care Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000462.pdf - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com.
