  • QuestionMy counter cutout is 35 1\4 X 20 1\4. Will this cook top work in that size cutout?

    • Answer Check your existing box that sits below counter, top fit but had to make some adjustments for base to sit in countertop. Original cabinet and counter was custom fit.

    • Answer Hi Indicator, thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience! We truly appreciate your interest in this beautiful gas cooktop and are happy to answer this for you. The cooktop does not feature an indicator light that illuminates when a burner is on, as a hot cooktop indicator light feature would be found mostly on our electric cooktops. Each control knob can be rotated between Lite, Low, Medium, and High and has a notch to indicate which position it is set to. If you are asking about an indicator light as an extra safety precaution when using the burners, we will tell you that we do offer some cooktop models that have a Control Lock option that locks the cooktop to prevent unwanted use. An indicator light will illuminate when the cooktop is locked. While this model does not offer that feature, we would be happy to offer you guidance in one that does. We truly appreciate you choosing this fantastic built-in cooktop for your home and are happy to tell you more about cleaning the burner grates. Yes, these heavy cast iron grates are dishwasher-safe for quick and easy cleaning! You will want to remove any burnt-on food particles prior to placing the grates in the dishwasher, place them on the lowest rack of the dishwasher, and run on a "heavy duty" cycle. You can see more tips on cleaning your cooktop on pages 9-12 of your Use and Care Manual. This model has color-matched plastic knobs with temperature resistant electroplated plastic coating for durability around heat.
