Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding the dripping water. If the washer fills or drips water in to the tub even when it is not turned on, the water valve on the back of your washer may need to be replaced. Also, with Top Load washers, it is not uncommon to have a small amount of water at the bottom of the wash basket after a load is complete. The amount of water is typically a 1/2 cup of water or less, and is considered normal. This will occur when water becomes trapped in the fill nozzle (fill tube) at the top of the wash basket after the water shuts off after filling. Often the nozzle doesn't immediately drain all of the remaining water, so after some time (even a few hours later), the water tension holding in the water breaks and the last amount of water is released or sprayed from the fill nozzle. It is similar to the small spurt or burst of water that sometimes comes out of a bathroom shower head after the water is turned off. If there is more than a 1/2 cup of water in the bottom of the tub, service may be required.
