This washer is perfect for helping to maintain washing of dog blankets and the cleaning of them is perfect for there health and well being.. All of the different settings make it easy to set the washer for the different items that need to be cleaned. Love this washer.

This washer is awesome, love the fact that if the knobs broke it can easily be fixed and not costly! Isn’t as quiet as I thought but with the door closed, it works out perfectly

I bought this machine because of the price. It was a floor model and reduced. I didn't want a lot of bells and whistles I just wanted a good washer. I got both. NOT too much digital confusion, settings are a breeze. Does an average load in 30 minutes!! Way better than my high priced " energy saver" that kicked the bucket in 3 years after at least 5 repairs. Out performs my old simple agitator. Does a quick wash in 15 minutes. Wring outs very well and clothes dry in about 30 minutes. Nice stainless steel interior. Very quiet. Note that the levels of amounts of water in the drum are very much lower than what you are used to but this is normal. Good capacity. NO cons. I have had this for about 2 months. I use it everyday. Don't hesitate to purchase it.

This is one of the only washers left with a center agitator. If you want clean clothes that aren't ruined by the new EPA regulated new washers buy this. On a side note it's not as loud as some reviews have stated. I'd say it close to same level as the old agitator washers everyone has had if that didn't bother you this shouldn't either.

As the previous owner of a high end LG machine, I have learned to appreciate this classic design. I can care less about noise and appearance, this machine cleans clothing!! I simply demand a classic agitator. My top of the line LG lasted only 4 years and I had to repair it for the same issue on two separate occasions. Furthermore, it did not clean to my satisfaction. Therefore, if you don't mind a little noise and demand clean clothes.....this is the machine for you!

We have had our washer about 3 weeks. It pulls a lot of energy for the wash cycle. We actually had a service man come to make sure it was working normally which he said it was. Washes clothes well and quickly, but don't be alarmed at the loudness. It actually stops rotating and goes the other direction so it pauses as it goes back and forth while washing. It does make our lights dim noticeably when in washing mode. Otherwise, I'm happy with it. Very large capacity which is needed with a family of 4.

I like my washer and I did read the reviews so I knew it was a little noisy (but I guess all of them are). If I close my laundry room door then it works out okay. It washes very well and is large capacity and it matches my dryer, which is all great, so I'll deal with a little noise.

I love the capacity size and all the different options. But its is so loud, I thought for a brand new washer and what I paid for it, it would be so much quieter than my old one. The entire cycle is constantly stopping and starting and engaging. It agitates for a few minutes then it stops for a minute or so and then it kicks on and agitates again. With all this stopping and starting, it doesn't seem like it really washes all that long and the sound of it constantly kicking back on is loud and irritating. Over all it has a lot of options but the loudness takes away from the options because I can hear it in every room of my house.

First of all just wanted to say that I read a majority of the reviews on this washer before purchasing. I bought this to replace a 15 year old washer that had manual controls and an agitator. I was hesitant about getting a new HE style washer. And reading some of the negative reviews was making me a little more hesitant. However I must say that this is a very good washer my wife is very happy with it. It is very different regarding the sounds it makes and the way it operates compared to the old one. But if you read all the literature that comes with it it's clearly states what it is supposed to do and that is all normal. If you let it do what it is designed to do and follow the instructions it works perfectly. The Best Buy team at the store and the delivery Personnel were great.Overall very happy with this purchase thank you.

A Big capacity drum, a great washing machine with a lot of choices for settings. Good price! I would recommend this. Its just on the noisy side.

I bought this washer after reading many reviews. Washer had gone out several days previous, so desperately needed to make a good choice. Wanted one that would have a longer life, would clean clothes better, and spin water out better than previous washer. I wasn't sure how the middle spindle would limit the amount of laundry the tub would hold, or how it would affect the cleaning ability, or if it would impact the spinning out of the water. However, even with the spindle, the tub has a large capacity for heavily soiled laundry. (I would have needed a larger dryer, except that this washer spins out the water so well, my dryer still dries the load in less time.) This washer cleans significantly dirty clothes very well! I like that the tub holds more laundry, the options selectors are stationary (once the selection has been made, they don't rotate around the dial), you can choose water temperature, water depth, soil levels, multiple types of rinse (from extreme water-saving spritz to deep-water rinse for fabric softeners), more than one rinse-and-spin cycle, and the fabric softener dispenser. The chimes are quiet and not an issue. I do have one concern that remains, and it has been mentioned in other reviews. Even with being properly leveled and sitting on a concrete floor, the washer visibly vibrates when spinning the water out. (It is noisy at this point, also, but not unreasonably so.) I'm concerned it may affect the longevity of the machine. If it lasts 5 years, it will be one of the best purchases made in a long time. So far, it has done an awesome job!

Washer is a nice size for a small family. Clothes come out clean. The spin cycle works well so that clothes are not too wet when they come out of the wash. No big frills, but a great basic washer

Finally a washing machine which cleans really well. The reason I did not give it a 5 is because it makes a lot of noise. But the quality of the wash is excellent.

I love this washer! It is wide enough for my large loads of towels or jeans and it fills up fast. I love that when my clothes are done spinning they are warm. It is pretty quiet surprisingly during spin cycle with plenty of options and easy to figure out. The price for this makes it a steal considering how awesome it is.

Washes things well and has exactly the kind of options in wash cycle that I was looking for. It's pretty quiet, too. Only complaint is that it struggles if there is too much pet hair, like when washing a dog bed. There will be hair left over stuck to the sides of the washing machine. Also I can't quite fit my sleeping bag in there, but that's not really the washer's fault.

My husband wanted to buy a washer with an agitator. We had one years ago, but had replaced it with the more modern style washer. My husband said that the washer with the agitator got his clothes cleaner, which is probably true since it has more contact with the clothing. I was reluctant, but went ahead and looked for one. Once the washer was delivered and set-up, we fell in love with it. It is quieter than our previous washer and it has many selections to set your water levels, temperature and soaking options.It fits nicely into our laundry room and matches the dryer that we already had. I would highly recommend this washer if you are looking for something that gets your clothing clean at a good price. If you want a "pretty and colorful" washer with all the bells and whistles, this is not for you, but you will definitely pay more. We have friends who tell us they wish they had purchased one like ours versus the more expensive "pretty" washer that has given them trouble.

We returned our brand new Whirlpool for this GE washer. Two months later, we can't tell you how happy we are to have made the switch... The Whirlpool constantly got out of balance (at least half of our washes). We've never had this problem with this GE. The Whirlpool wouldn't let you add clothes to the wash while it was filling. The GE only locks the lid once it's done filling, making it easy to add clothes. Plus, this GE only takes about 35 minutes to wash a large load (compared to 1-hour+ for most of the Samsung and LG washers). This GE washer also gives you complete control of how you want your wash done -- water levels, wash settings, etc. Or, you can let it choose stuff automatically. Finally, the GE's control panel is super easy to understand and change settings (unlike a lot of other washers). Both my wife and I are hugely relieved we found this washer after being frustrated by all the limitations of the Samsung, LG, and Whirlpool washers.
