• Hi Eloise- Our Top-Load washers, including GE® 4.2 DOE Washer GTW460ASJWW, have stainless steel wash baskets. The matching dryers, including GTD42EASJWW/GTD42GASJWW, have Aluminized Alloy drums. • Yes, I love my GE top-loading washing machine and front-loading dryer. The washing machine has an extra large capacity and stainless steel drum and auto-dispenses fabric softener and bleach. The dryer has a large steel drum without the extended back so that it will fit into tight areas. It fits perfectly in my small laundry area in my new condo. GE washing machine model# GTW460ASJWW 4.2CF
