Not sure if you mean they are not washing correctly or they remain stained. I use stain remover quite a bit on my clothing. Clorox stain removal works great. Especially their one for colors.

We do recommend HE (High Efficiency) detergent be used in all of our washers (past and present models) for optimum wash performance. HE detergent works best with the lower water levels used in all modern washing machines and cleans just as well as standard detergents regardless of the machine type or age. If using detergent packets (pods), place these in the basket before loading clothes/items. If using liquid detergent, add the manufacturer’s recommended amount of detergent to the top of the load after adding clothes. Check the household water heater to make sure it is delivering water at 90-120 degrees F.
