“Re “Precise Water Fill”: If I choose another option on the washer Selection Knob (small, large etc.), does this override the computer? If yes, how high is the level water for each option (small thru super)? My current washer (12 yo Maytag) let’s me select small through ex. Large. The water levels go up significantly for each option. I don’t want or need a company (or govt.) dictating to me how to wash my clothes. I’m guessing that GE “defines” the levels for small through super and that each level would be lower than I’m now using. If this is the case, I’ll be pushing the “Deep Fill” button often on EACH load. If this is indeed the case, that’s crazy!”

Some front loaders and other top loaders don't use enough water and that's why we bought the GE. The clothes are cleaner and look better and dry better. Push the deep fill and look inside when full and you will kno for sure.

Washers are $$$$ and all I want is clean clothes ! However I have already got rid of 4 washer sets and 2 were stack type costly digital top line and 1 free standing , I also had to replace my linens and towels along with lots of clothes . NO washer can clean clothes with ((( 2" ))) of water !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I aint no fool !!! so I make tiny loads with 2-3 gallons of carried sink to washer water for every wash and rinse cycle and this takes a lot of my time as I don't like to babysit my washer ! People... this does not save money but cost me xx $$$ as I make lots of loads when 1-2 would be enough IF the dang washer would fill and then I also have a $$$ soap bill due to all the tiny tiny loads I make for the 2" of water loads !!! ........... :( I love my GE free standing range !!!! After looking at ranges and cooktops , I garden and wanted to can veggies from my garden , I chose GE free standing range and I love it and gone is my $$ glass top that always needed to be cleaned with special cleaner , I love my GE free standing range ! Keep up the good work GE and I am counting on this washer to work... fill up with water ... and give me clean clothes . Thanks and I will do another review of this washer as I am off to find and buy one.
