A:AnswerHi! Thanks for asking, we'd be happy to help. This model needs to be hardwired for proper installation. If you have more questions about the electrical requirements for this model, you can see page 3 of your installation instructions. Best wishes! -Michael@GEA
A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question. We do not currently manufacture appliances in an almond finish. The closest color we currently offer to almond is bisque, and we only manufacture free-standing ranges in that finish. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have as we are always here to help. -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerTo find the answer, you will have to pull up the installation paper work for the GE by model number and get the cutout instructions which should give you the iformation if it will fit.
A:AnswerHi Dpaul, thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience. We truly appreciate your interest in this fantastic drop-in electric range and are happy to offer you guidance in this. Installing a telescopic downdraft vent behind your cooking surface instead of a hood above can help to create a clean and minimal look for your kitchen. Downdraft vents can be installed with most gas and electric cooktops; however, they are not compatible with ranges and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment this may cause. - We would be more than happy to offer you further guidance in finding a range that will accommodate the configuration of your kitchen. Should you be interested, please reach out to us via our Contact Us page on our website at any time. We sincerely hope that this helps to clarify and wish you all the best! -Eliza@GEA

A:AnswerHi chuck, thanks for reaching out to us. This range does not have convection cooking. If you have any other questions, you can e-mail us using the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. We'd love to have you in our GE Appliances family. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHi LAF, this is a great question that we're happy to assist with. This is because this range actually hangs from your countertops, whereas other ranges that aren't drop-in rest on the floor. If you have any other questions or concerns, you can e-mail us using the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. We're wishing you the best! - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHello JMain,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We appreciate your interest in GE Appliances, and would be more than happy to help you with this range. We apologize for the lack of detail for this appliance, but we are glad you made us aware of it. We are pleased to let you know our slide-in ovens will hold a turkey that is 24-26 lbs. We recommend that when cooking a turkey in any size oven, there should be a minimum of one inch air space on all sides: top, bottom, right, left and back wall.
We hope this answers your question, and thank you again for contacting us. If there are any more questions or concerns, please reach out to us through our website or on social media.
Take care!

A:AnswerHi Ryan - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing this electric range for your home! We are very sorry to hear that the glass on your radiant cooktop has cracked and can imagine that this has been a stressful experience for you. We are happy to help you with this. Service is required to repair or replace a ceramic glass cooktop surface that has cracked. We do not recommend using the cooktop until the unit is repaired. You can schedule an appointment with GE Factory Service by calling 1-800-432-2737 Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET, Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET, or schedule online at any time. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
A:AnswerHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! We appreciate your loyalty to GE Appliances, and we'd be happy to help you with this range. We found that when this range is purchased, a cord is not included. This is because we are not able to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require. Power Cords for ranges are available through local dealers or can be purchased as an accessory. We do not recommend reusing an existing power cord because it could affect the performance of the range. For full electrical requirements of this appliance use the following link: (Page 3)

A:AnswerHi Twiggy! Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in our appliances. Since your current model is not a GE Appliances range, we cannot verify that this range would fit in the current slot. The dimensions of this stove are 27 H x 31 1/4 W x 28 1/2 D. As long as the cutout fits these requirements, along with the clearances on page 1 of the Installation Instructions, then it would fit into your current cutout. You can find the Installation Instructions online at this link: https://files.bbystatic.com/HP7OL4tvNWRUOtqikXw3qw%3D%3D/98c7a197-6239-4cf8-b4ef-40b127ef079f.pdf
We hope this helps! Emily
A:AnswerHey brownie! Thanks for contacting us. We'd love to help you out. We recommend that each side of the cooktop sit 6" from the wall. We hope this is helpful! We're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerI just installed this stove before Thanksgiving! The space was 30 inches wide. Fit perfectly. There is a lip on the stove that sits over the counter. The drop from the top to the very bottom of the stove is 27 1/4 inches. I love it! Beautiful stove!
A:AnswerHello Beth,
Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. This oven does not have downdraft ventilation. We do apologize for this inconvenience. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media or through our Contact Us page. Best wishes. Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHi Leo, thank you for reaching out! While this particular model does not some in a smaller width, we have another electric model that uses coils on the cooktop instead of having a smooth glass top. You can search for the following to see if it's what you're looking for: JM250DFWW. Know that this model only comes in White and Black, not Stainless Steel. We're sorry about that! We hope that this helps though! Stay safe. -Michael
A:AnswerHello Melany - Congratulations on the wonderful new range. For a new oven, we recommend running a self-clean cycle following the instructions in the manual. This will help clear the new oven smell a little faster. Just make sure the kitchen is well ventilated. Have fun! - JB
