“Does the top of the range sit flush with the wall? I looked at the unit at the store and it appeared there was a gap.”

This question is for: GE - 4.4 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Electric Convection Range - Stainless steel

There is a slight gap to accommodate the electrical connection. But it includes a metal spacer that attaches to the back to eliminate the space so things don't fall behind it.

Hi K24k - Thanks for considering our GE Profile™ Series 30" Slide-In Front Control Double Oven Electric Convection Range PS950SFSS! The rang is designed to fit in a standard 30" free-standing range cutout. The oven vent is located at the rear of the cooktop. This model will have a gap at the back that does not exceed 1/8 inch to allow for cool air needed for the controls. This range comes with an attachment that extends the back of the unit to the wall.
