The drain hose is designed for a wall mount. Drain pipe at 5 feet. If longer is needed GE Appliances part # WH 49X301. (Extension kit) 1-800-626-2002 USA GE Applianceparts.com

For top load washers, an optional 26" drain hose extension is recommended for drain heights from 70” - 96”. The kit contains all necessary hoses, clamps, and instructions. Connect the extension drain hose from the kit to the original hose with the hose clamp contained in kit.
