A:AnswerHi Jerry, great question. The approximate cycle time for a normal cycle, without any other options selected, is 61 minutes. The Quick Wash will run for about 41 minutes. The washer will adapt the run time within the cycle and from load to load, so the actual time could be several minutes more or less. We hope that this helps! Best wishes. -Michael@GEA
A:AnswerHello Shacole - Thank you for your interest in this amazing washer. We are always happy to help. The cycle and spin time can vary greatly on cycle selections and load types. Spin time on most washers, including this one, will average between 5 and 10 minutes. A drain and spin cycle only will typically take around 20 minutes. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John@GEA
A:AnswerHello Goose - We appreciate the curiosity in this amazing washer. The rinse water temperature will match the setting selected for the cycle unless the Warm Rinse setting is chosen. If Cold or Tap Cold are chosen, the rinse will match this selection. Stay safe and keep in touch! - John@GEA
A:AnswerHello Joe51 - We appreciate the interest in this great washer. The unit comes with a full 1 year factory warranty on any manufacturing defects. The 10 year warranty would be for the motor only. We recommend reaching out to your local Best Buy for information on any extended warranties they may offer. A:AnswerHowdy! Thank you for being part of the GE Appliance family. We are happy to answer any question you may have.
All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.
If the sound you are hearing does not sound normal, please reach out to us on our Contact Us page or social media. Thanks! - John@GEA
A:AnswerHello Sam - This is an excellent question and we will be happy to help.
Every GEA washer is tested for leakage before being packed for shipment. Therefore, the washer may have a small amount of water in the tub when they reach your home. We hope this helps and enjoy the new washer! We know you'll love it! - JB
A:AnswerI have a dryer with the steam feature although not the GE model. Mine has a flap that opens on top where there's a removable plastic water container for refilling. I haven't seen a steam feature with a water connection. I use mine to freshen clothing with a scented dryer sheet or to help with wrinkles . I like the feature very much.
A:AnswerHello billyk,
You can use regular detergent in your High-Efficiency washer. We do recommend that you use High-Efficiency detergent with your washer for the best performance. Best wishes -Mike
A:AnswerThere is an answer I saw earlier stating a $24.95 fee. I have had scrappers pick mine up which helps them and saves a pick up and disposal fee.
A:AnswerHi - Thanks for considering GE Model GTW725BSNWS! Most cycles are between 30 - 60 minutes. Colors Normal is approximately 42 minutes and Whites is approximately 41 minutes. Cycle times will vary based on water pressure and load differences (weight and type). Also, the actual run time could be several minutes more or less based on the need of the washer to redistribute and balance the wash load to reach maximum spin speed. We'd love to have you in the family. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
