“My old GE XL44 heats up my whole kitchen when I use the oven. It also heats up on top of the range thru the burners. Handles of my pots get hot also. Does this new one do that?”

Thanks so much for being a part of the GEA family! We know things can heat up while cooking so we're happy to help. All ranges of exhaust vents somewhere on the appliance. This model has vents located at the rear of the cooktop, at the top and bottom of the oven door, and at the bottom of the range under the broiler drawer. If your kitchen gets warm, we recommend ventilating it with open windows or an exhaust hood above the range. - John@GEAppliances
