- Answer Hi Petra- Yes, the Right Rear 5,000 BTU burner is a Precise Simmer burner- Delicate foods don’t burn with low, even heat. The black gloss grates are steel (not cast iron) and the range does not have a clock or timer. We also offer similar GE® 30" Free-Standing Gas Range JGBS60REKS with clock and timer. - Answer Fault codes are programmed in all GE Appliance brand range and wall oven models which feature electronic oven controls. The F1 code usually means that there is an issue problem with the key panel. It may mean that the key panel needs to be replaced. Please disconnect power to your range for a minute or two before restoring power. This may reset the internal circuitry and resolve the issue. If the code comes back, service may be needed. Please reach out to our Bodewell service team at 1-833-426-3393 to schedule an appointment. They can examine and confirm the repair work needed.

- Answer This doesn't have a preheat signal or bell to tell you the oven is preheated. We recommend setting your desired temperature and waiting at least 10 minutes before placing your food inside. Please refer to page 14 in your manual for adjusting the oven temperature if needed. Joyce@GEAppliances

- Answer You will need to fully remove your oven door to clean in between the glass. You can view the full instructions for this on page 21 of the Use and Care manual. You can then place a rag onto a yardstick and insert it into the hole in the bottom of the door. We have a YouTube video called "Cleaning Between the Oven Door Glass" that can assist you.

QuestionWhy does this stove not have any insulation for the oven except on the door. Isn't it a government regulation to have insulation around the entire oven? This seems like a bad thing waiting to happen. I recently purchased this model stove & wouldn't have.

- Answer I do not have a time clock on my oven. On the low left trun the switch off it's above the oven door at the top on the left.
