“Is it true that the flames on the burners cannot be adjusted? Our complaint is that none of the burners will adjust low enough to really simmer unless turned almost to the off position; then we have to be careful the flame does not go out completely.”

First , i have adjusted them pretty low with good results. This model is unique in that it has a large , 2 medium and a small burner for simmer. I have had no issues with simmering. Especially with the small burner.
