• I put my grates in the dishwasher. They always look new.

• Hi Mike. Thanks for reaching out to us! Grates should be washed regularly in hot soapy water, rinsed in clean water, and dried before placing them back on range. Grates and caps can be cleaned in dishwasher as long as they are enamel coated on the bottom. As for the burners, yes they are classified as sealed burners. We hope that this helps! Stay safe.
