• A:Answer Hi Purplelady. Good question! Yes, the Steam Clean will cause the water that you pour into the oven to turn into steam. This steam will then fill the oven and loosen up any food particles to make them easier to wipe away. We hope that this helps! Stay safe.

• A:Answer Hi there. You do need a 120-volt, 60 Hertz, properly grounded dedicated circuit protected by a 15-amp or 20-amp circuit breaker or time delay fuse for the outlet. • A:Answer Hi - Thanks for your interest in GE Model #JGBS66DEKWW! This model is not self-cleaning. It has Steam Clean option. This method avoids the time required for conventional self-clean ovens. Steam Clean allows for quick cleaning of minor food spills at temperatures lower than the standard self-clean feature. Simply pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of a cool oven. • A:Answer Hi Angela - It is not self-cleaning. The range offers Steam Clean option. The Steam Clean feature is for cleaning light soil from your oven. Simply pour 1 cup of water onto the bottom of the oven and press the Steam Clean pad. The cycle is 30 minutes. All of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas; however, they also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. The conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) or included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Keep in touch! Sue

It is advised to clean this appliance with a mild soap and water or vinegar and water solution. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. When cleaning surfaces, make sure that they are at room temperature and not in direct sunlight.
