Q: QuestionI just ordered online . I says it comes with a conversion kit. I have lpg. Can I install that myself.

• A:Answer Hi Dennis - Thanks for choosing GE! All of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas; however, they also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. The conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) or included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Keep in touch! Sue

• A:Answer When cleaning this range, do not use oven cleaners, abrasive cleansers, strong liquid cleansers, steel wool, plastic scouring pads, or cleaning powders on the interior or exterior of the oven. It is advised to clean this appliance with a mild soap and water or vinegar and water solution. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. When cleaning surfaces, make sure that they are at room temperature and not in direct sunlight.

An alternative to a standing pilot model is our Hotpoint cordless gas range, model RGBS200DMWW, which features a battery-operated spark ignition system for the burners and the oven.

You can also soak grates and caps in a slightly diluted solution of liquid cleanser and scour with a non-metallic soap filled pad. Q: QuestionDoes the griddle burner have just one setting? Even if I turned on the knob to the highest setting, the flames stayed the same and did not change. It looks like it is always at the lowest setting. Is this normal?

If your range is not adjusting according to the position on the knob, we first suggest cleaning the surface burners and heads to remove any potential debris that could be causing an issue.
