Q: QuestionI just ordered online . I says it comes with a conversion kit. I have lpg. Can I install that myself.

• A:Answer Hi Dennis - Thanks for choosing GE! All of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas; however, they also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. The conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) or included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Keep in touch! Sue

• A:Answer The Cerama Bryte Gas Grate Cleaning Kit (WX10X10021) can be used to clean baked on deposits and revitalize gas grates and burner caps. You can also soak grates and caps in a slightly diluted solution of liquid cleanser and scour with a non-metallic soap filled pad. Q: QuestionDoes the griddle burner have just one setting? Even if I turned on the knob to the highest setting, the flames stayed the same and did not change. It looks like it is always at the lowest setting. Is this normal?

If your range is not adjusting according to the position on the knob, we first suggest cleaning the surface burners and heads to remove any potential debris that could be causing an issue. • A:Answer Yes, the compatible center grate is JXGRATE1. The range comes equipped with a non-stick griddle that only has a flat side. It does not have a ridged grill. -- You can purchase the compatible reversible grill/griddle JXGRILL1 which is cast iron. It offers both a smooth griddle on one side and a ridged griddle on the other. Both can be purchased on the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances

• A:Answer Make sure your range is plugged into a 120 volt 3-prong grounded outlet and be sure the gas supply connected to the range has been turned on. If the surface burners work but the bake and broil burners do not, check to be sure the gas shut-off on the pressure regulator is open. Please see page 25 of the online Owner's Manual for additional information. To locate the manual, click on the Features tab and scroll to the bottom of the Features list. You'll find all available literature listed there.
