Q: QuestionI just ordered online . I says it comes with a conversion kit. I have lpg. Can I install that myself.

• A:Answer Hi Dennis - Thanks for choosing GE! All of our gas cooking appliances come ready to be connected to natural gas; however, they also come with an LP conversion kit to connect to LP (Liquid Propane). We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. The conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) or included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Keep in touch! Sue

• A:Answer The broiler is located in the bottom drawer. We haven’t used it yet as I’m not able to get down that low as I’ve had back surgery recently. So there is no bottom drawer to keep pans in. I was not aware. I do like the stove otherwise.

Q: QuestionDoes the griddle burner have just one setting? Even if I turned on the knob to the highest setting, the flames stayed the same and did not change. It looks like it is always at the lowest setting. Is this normal?

• A:Answer We can confirm that the oval griddle burner has multiple settings on the knob. If your range is not adjusting according to the position on the knob, we first suggest cleaning the surface burners and heads to remove any potential debris that could be causing an issue. • A:Answer Yes, the compatible center grate is JXGRATE1. The range comes equipped with a non-stick griddle that only has a flat side. It does not have a ridged grill. -- You can purchase the compatible reversible grill/griddle JXGRILL1 which is cast iron. It offers both a smooth griddle on one side and a ridged griddle on the other. Both can be purchased on the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances

• A:Answer Make sure your range is plugged into a 120 volt 3-prong grounded outlet and be sure the gas supply connected to the range has been turned on. If the surface burners work but the bake and broil burners do not, check to be sure the gas shut-off on the pressure regulator is open. Please see page 25 of the online Owner's Manual for additional information. To locate the manual, click on the Features tab and scroll to the bottom of the Features list. You'll find all available literature listed there. Q: QuestionI just bought this on the 1st and used my griddle one time, after washing there seems to be oxidation after taken proper care when washing. Anyone else experienced this or know how to clean the oxidation off? This shouldn’t be normal

• A:Answer Avoid scraping the griddle surface with metal utensils. Wash your griddle with dish soap and hot water. If necessary, scrub with a nonabrasive plastic pad. We recommend you review the "Griddle Precautions" section on pg. 20 of the Owner's Manual.
