can you turn the convection off? null

To use the convection feature you need to engage the control panel, otherwise it is turned off. I have not baked or used this function due to the extreme heat we are experiencing. I have been using the stove top to cook due to the outside heat, and discovered a melt setting today on the small back burner, a surprise to me.

Yes, it i straight forward. The controls are well marked. To turn it off permanently just never turn it on
