Hi, Thanks for reaching out, we're very sorry for the trouble you're having with the broil feature. To use the Hi broil mode, press the Broil pad once and then press "Start". Also make sure you are applying enough pressure when pressing the start pad. If this issue persists, try disconnecting power to to the range for 30 seconds to reset the electronics. If that doesn't work, we recommend calling GE Service at 1-800-432-2737. Hope this helps! - Sharon@GEA
