QuestionSince there is no bridge element is it possible to use an 11" x 20" griddle on this cooktop? (E.g. for making pancakes.)

- Answer Hello Bakermom - Thank you for reaching out about your range. We are happy to help. Trivection used a combination of thermal, convection, and microwave cooking. True European convection does cook faster than traditional ovens. However, it does not use microwave heating. We suggest taking a look at our Advantium ovens for this sort of technology that allows speed cooking. Thanks. - JB

QuestionYou are showing three similar looking models of this GE 30" slide -in -electric range. One without convection, a cheaper and a more expensive one with convection oven. What's the difference?

QuestionWe just installed one of these and somehow scratched the stainless steel plate of the control panel. Is this stainless steel piece something that we could order as an aftermarket replacement piece?

QuestionI need to replace my drop in range and was looking at this slide in. I must know the depth of the stove from the back to the oven glass door front. My dishwasher door open clears my current oven door by only 5/8". Depth with w/out handle not enough info.

- Answer The handles protrude a little beyond the control panel so it's about 24 inches for depth including handles.

- Answer Circuit breaker must be 40A double pole Receptacle (plug/outlet) must be NEMA 14-50 (4-wire, 50 Amp) Cable should be 6/3 or 8/3 stranded copper, or (where permitted by local code) 6-6-6-6 AWG aluminum

QuestionHow long does it take to burn off the chemical smell? The manual says 30-60 minutes, but I've had this oven for about a week and after several hours of use at high temp per day, it still smells like chemicals.

- Answer Hi Katy- Thanks for choosing GE! The small amount of smoke and odor that is emitted from a new range (both gas and electric) on its initial use is normal. This is usually caused by the tape used in the oven for shipping purposes or residue of non toxic materials used in manufacturing of the oven insulation. We suggest to run a self-clean cycle and use a ventilation fan or open a window to ventilate the room.
