Q: QuestionI'm interested in purchasing this oven but I hate to bend because of my back. Can the oven be placed on a solid platform of 4-6" to keep bending at a minimum ?

Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. Manufacturing facilities (plant sites, where appliances are made) can and do change from time to time because GE Appliances continues to seek the most efficient manufacturing processes available. We make products all over the world for a Global marketplace. Therefore, your best source for manufacturing location is the packaging/product itself. • A:Answer The center is oval, this model doesn't have an airfryer built in, just a convection in the bottom. Air fryer ovens are definitely gonna up the price a bit. I forgot whether it came with the pan since I already have several of them over the years that came with other range units.

Q: QuestionDoes the outside of the oven door stay cool while in use? What type of seal is used for the oven door?

The temperature of the oven door during operation is going to be entirely dependent on what temperature you're using and how long the oven is on. Since this is a cooking appliance, we should assume the surface of the door will not stay cool during operation. We do not have the specific material that the gasket is made of. Q: QuestionIs steam cleaning better than self cleaning for the oven? I find that self cleaning ovens crack the bottom of the oven inside!

A Self Cleaning cycle, while it does get very hot inside, should not cause damage to the inside of your oven. Q: QuestionI live a bit over 100 miles from the store and delivery is unavailable. I’m trying to decide about whether I’ll need to rent a truck or if the stove, in its packaging, will fit in the back of my SUV. Does anyone know the dimensions of the packaged unit?

Q: QuestionI bought this oven a year back and now I am having problems with the top oven heating and staying at the correct temperature...it is set on 350 or 400 but when I turn it up to preheat at a higher temperature it is showing at actually 275 or so.

We truly appreciate you choosing this double-oven range for your home and are very sorry to hear of the issues you are having with the temperature in your upper oven not properly adjusting. We are happy to offer you some guidance in this! When starting a Continuous or Timed Bake in the upper oven, after you press the Bake pad, followed by the Start pad, the oven will automatically start at 350 degrees F. If a different cooking temperature is desired, use the 1-5 number pads or Timer pad to select a different preset cooking temperature, then press Start. - The inconsistency between what you are seeing and the temperature you are setting may be since no feedback is given during a temperature change. We would recommend that you refer to page 12 of your Use and Care Manual to ensure that you are properly setting and adjusting your temperatures. If these suggestions do not resolve the issue, please reach out to us via our Contact Us page online so that we can get more details on your situation and offer you further troubleshooting support. Q: QuestionDo you need a special hood BTU for the self clean/convection. Los Angeles code for ADU (Granny house). Because it is gas only 110 power?

Q: QuestionIf you cook 4 pies at the same time (2 in each oven) and at the same temperature, will they come out the same? fruit pie takes and hour to bake to get the inside cooked and thickened while the top gets golden brown. Any issue because of shorter height?
