A:AnswerHello- Congratulations on your new freezer. We appreciate your purchase and are happy to help! We typically do not recommend modifying or changing a product as designed. However, a perforated cover or screen placed on the back where the power cord comes out would not create any issue. Please use caution when installing this. We do not have any instructions or advice on securing this onto the freezer. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA

A:AnswerHello,
Good question! We appreciate your interest in this model and we'd love to help you with it's temperatures. The correct operating temperature of chest and upright freezers, including smaller, compact models is -5 to +5 degrees Fahrenheit. Because of this we do not recommend it for refrigerator use. Thanks for checking!
