Q: QuestionWhat is the size of the diameter of the hose outlet? Also how long can the hose be between the dryer and the outlet outside? Does the hose need to be rigid or can it be a flex metal hose for a 20’ run?

• A:Answer We recommend a 4" diameter vent. We also just recommend you vent as short and as straight as possible to maximize efficiency. For a 20 ft. run, it could be either a flexible or rigid metal hose.
