QuestionI live in Louisiana. Is there any way to get the artistry line in my state? I've tried several different sites, but they always come up with no delivery or store pick up options.

- Answer The GE Artistry Series has been discontinued. We bought the whole series from Home Depot and Best Buy 3 months ago so some dealers might be out of them. I would suggest picking it up if the trip isn't to far. We live on the coast of California. Good luck to you!

QuestionHow do you get to the screws to tighten the handle? Does the cover pull or slide off?

QuestionCan I purchase additional half width shelves from GE to work within the artistry series fridge? I'd like more options than just the two entire width shelves. Thank you.

- Answer Hello Chris - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we're happy to help you. Another full-width shelf could work in your refrigerator, but if your look at the shelf glides, you will notice that two shelves would have to be very close to each other so you would not be able to put tall items on one of the shelves. A half shelf would not work because it would not have anything to hold itself up in the middle. QuestionI purchased this fridge, and though handles are reversible, we now have screw holes showing on top of handles since moving them from left side to right. Do you sell right side handles so these screw holes don't show? just reversing causes this unsightly

- Answer I had the same problem. I ordered my fridge with the hinges on the left to open from the right. But when it was delivered it was backwards. I switched the hinges, but the handles are now upside down with the hex nut hole showing on the top. I contacted the parts department to request new right side handles, but they didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

QuestionI have just ordered an artistry fridge with lower freezer as listed above. Can you tell me what the cost of adding an ice maker is? And is this something I can do myself or is a service call required for adding the ice maker?
