While installation is possible, these fixtures will override the Cync app capabilities and limit the smart features of the bulb. Q: QuestionI have lamps with a 3-way switch and it can be annoying to try to pair the light bulb to app when you have to turn it off and on several times. Do these bulbs require you to turn the light off & on to get it in pairing mode?

• A:Answer initially they have a QR code sticker now. I dont know about re-pairing if they loose their pairing. I know the old way of resetting your talking about. With my older ones I wound up buying a cheap small lamp that I could plug up and follow along with the video on youtube for resetting.

Q: QuestionCan this be screwed into a ceiling light and controlled thru voice or the app to be turned on or off?? Looking for something for my 80 year old mom who often gets into bed and forgets to turn off the light.
