A:AnswerHello Mari - We appreciate the curiosity in this talented microwave. There is not a mode to change power levels in the middle of a cycle. This can be done manually while cooking. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John@GEA
A:AnswerHello Timothy, thank you for your question! The bottom edge of cabinet needs to be 30" or more from the cooking surface. As long as this dimension is met, you will meet the proper installation requirements. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. You can reach out to us further at the “Contact Us” link on our website. – CV
A:AnswerHi there! Congrats on your new microwave and range! We're sure that you're going to love them both! Many microwaves come with protective film on the outside of the door and around the control panel. There may also be blue tape on the inside the door around the window that should be removed as well. We hope that this is helpful and that you're staying safe! If you have any other questions or concerns about your new appliances, feel free to send us an email or reach out to us on social media. All the best! -Michae@GEA
A:AnswerHi Misty, thanks for reaching out! All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy! NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. - We think that you'll really like the following model. Search for it a see what you think: PVM9179SKSS. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael
A:AnswerHello, The top mount has 3 screws for installation. Additionally we had a previous GE microwave and had hoped to use the existing wall bracket but this microwave was slightly taller then the out going one so we had to install the new bracket which sits lower on the wall due to height difference.
A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question! The controls for this microwave are located on the door. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. – CV
A:AnswerHi Stella, thanks for reaching out! If your replace filter light has come on, it would be time to replace your charcoal filter in your microwave. The red LED indicator will light every 6 months as a reminder to replace the charcoal filter. After replacing the charcoal filters, Hold the Reset Filter for 3 seconds to turn off the Red LED indicator. The charcoal filter that you would need for your unit is as follows: WB02X11550. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael
