QuestionExactly how does the third rack get cleaned. When i look at the pictures the second rack is full so where does the water come from to perform the cleaning? I know it may sound stupid but i must ask anyway.

- Answer Hello- Thanks so much for your question. We are happy to help! There is no stupid question. There is a round spray hub on the ceiling that sprays water down. The unit switches between the Lower Spray arm and the Middle Arm and Upper Hub throughout the cycle to ensure the best spray pressure. We hope this is helpful. Questionwhat is the difference between this model PDT785SYNFS and PDT715SYNFS?

- Answer Hey there and thanks for considering GE Appliances for your home. Model PDT785SYNFS has a dba level of 39, making it slightly quieter than the PDT715SYNFS model, which has a dba level of 45. Model PDT785SYNFS has variable motor speed, Leak Defense with Active Flood Protect, a hidden heater, twin turbo boost dry, fold down tines on upper and lower racks, built-in WiFi, and heater wattage of 1200/400. Model PDT715SYNFS has a single motor speed, Active Flood Protect, Dry Boost, fold down tines on the lower rack, optional WiFi (part sold separately), and a heater wattage of 800/500. - Answer Hello. Thanks for reaching out! To clean the filter you would have to remove the bottom rack, and remove the Ultra-Fine Filter assembly. You can find step by step instructions on how to do this in the owners manual under Care and Cleaning. QuestionDoes this dishwasher have the option to add an extra rinse? With my current dishwasher I always have to run an extra rinse, so my ideal replacement would let me do that with a setting (like my clotheswasher does)

- Answer Hi there - we appreciate you reaching out to us. We checked the information for this unit, and we can confirm that this dishwasher doesn't have an option for an extra rinse. There are a couple options, however, that allow for higher temperatures during the rinse portion of the cycle for a better rinsing performance. QuestionCan you disable the dry cycle using the touch controls?

- Answer Thanks so much for reaching out with your question! Yes, you can. Pressing the Twin Turbo Dry Boost touchpad once selects Normal Heated Dry and a second time activates High Heated Dry, which is Twin Turbo Dry Boost. QuestionThis dishwasher was installed yesterday. We can’t close the detergent dispenser flap so that it stays down—no latch or slide to keep it from springing back up. We ran one wash cycle hoping that would reset it, but flap still won’t stay down. Any advice?

QuestionThe dishwasher I'm replacing has a styrofoam float system installed that will cause it to float and press a switch to alert if there is water leaking in the dishwasher. Does this dishwasher have a sensor or error alert if it is leaking?

QuestionThe middle spray arm keeps falling off. The assembly connecting the spray arm to bottle jets falls off too. I have to load carefully to avoid dislodging the spray arm. I can reassemble, but it is finicky, and I wonder if this is normal.

QuestionThe question is not as much as referring to the gap between case unit and door when opened, but rather if the door when opened is the same height as the bottom of the unit that the rack rests on. My current unit has a height diff resultin in the bump

QuestionWe are replacing a Ge Profile model #PDW8480J10SS. Is this model a good option? Dimensions, functionality etc?

- Answer To ensure a good fit, we recommend measuring your space as the depth of your prior model is 25-1/4” versus 24” on the new model. Also, the width of your prior model is 24” compared to 23-3/4” on the new model. In terms of functionality, the new model certainly has elevated features such as the built in Wi-Fi, Twin Turbo Dry Boost, built in third rack, bottle wash jets, and more. We’re confident this would make a great replacement for your current dishwasher.

QuestionDoes this model have a hidden heating element or an exposed heating element ?
