I replaced an existing old GE wall oven/microwave combo with a new GE Profile Model PT7800SH8SS wall oven/microwave combo that is an exact fit without any needed alterations! Very quick and smooth installation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi TexasIndian! We appreciate your question and loyalty to our wall ovens and built-in microwaves. We found that the dimensions of these units are slightly different, so it would not fit into the current slot without any alteration. The height of the new unit is 1/8" shorter than the old unit and the depth of the new unit is 3 1/4" deeper than the old unit. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact.htm Hope this helps! Emily@GEA
