Hi - This is a great question on this beautiful GE Profile microwave/oven combination unit! Yes, you can use the upper microwave oven while you bake or broil in your lower oven. This allows you to use this unit to it's maximum capabilities and will save you a lot of time when cooking multiple items for friends and family.
