Thanks so much for reaching out about your new cooktop! Yes, this model would be a good replacement for your old cooktop since the cutout dimensions are the same. If you were to run into any issues with installation, though, we recommend checking out our Cooktop Fit Guarantee on our website. It states that GE Appliances will provide up to $100 in the form of a GE Appliances Visa® Prepaid Card toward the cost of professionally modifying your countertop and/or cabinets.
