A:AnswerOh goodness! We're incredibly sorry to hear about your washer not functioning as it should and understand how upsetting this can be. We first recommend trying to disconnect the power for about two minutes then restoring power to see if that solves the problem. If that does not work, please call for service at 800-432-2737. Best. A:AnswerHi - Thank you for your interest in a new Profile washer and dryer. GE Appliances products are designed by GE Appliances engineers in the United States. Many are manufactured in the U.S. and others are made globally to our specifications. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging. While we can confirm the washer is manufactured in the U.S.. the matching dryer is manufactured globally. Both products are backed by GE Appliances which is headquartered in Louisville, Ky. should you need assistance. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerHi, and thank you for reaching out to us. Not all models have temperature management system listed in the features for that model. These washers do add hot and cold water as appropriate to meet an approximate temperature range; however, this can vary by model. On these models, we cannot provide specific target temperatures. In general, non-Energy Star models that do not have a temperature management system the target temperature for hot water is approximately 90-100 degrees (+/- 10 degrees) if the incoming water temperature is 135F. We hope this helps. Have a great day. -Mel@GEA
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for reaching out. We do not rate the sound level of our washers, which means we are unable to provide a decibel level while they are running. If you feel your washer is too loud or is making an unusual sound, please refer to pg 28 of the owner’s manual that gives you an overview of sounds you should expect from this washer https://files.bbystatic.com/txbY%2Bk58fhyGs6PzvWUnyw%3D%3D/Owners%2BManual I hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions.- Don@GEA

A:AnswerHi - Based on the installation instructions, we recommend the hot water coming into the washer be between 120°F - 150°F. With the incoming water in this temperature range, the washer should bring in a mix of hot and/or cold water to reach the target temperature of approximately 90°F for the warm wash setting. If you followed the prior technician's recommendation and turned down your water heater and the issue persists, it should be re-checked. We recommend calling GE Appliances service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule an appointment for service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Wishing you all the best! Vikki@GEA
