Q: QuestionWhat is the depth of the outside condenser cabinet and the inside cabinet? I need to know how much the unit extends outside the exterior wall surface and inside. The website only shows 28" total depth with the window chase in the closed position.

Q: QuestionI don't see what the max width it will fit if the expander is used. Can someone please let me know? My single hung is over 3' wide. Thank you.

• A:Answer Hello. Thanks for checking with us! There are no known compatibility issues with GFCI. Our air conditioners have a built-in LCDI (Leakage Current Detection Interrupter) on the power cord, which is a device that senses current leakage flowing between or from the integral cord conductors and interrupts the circuit at a predetermined level of current leakage. We do not anticipate any issues with water dripping on the floor as long as the unit is tilted to the outside, the drain plug is plugged in, and the air conditioner is leveled from left to right. Q: QuestionI've never seen any dripping from the outside. I shouldn't have to remove a plug or anything from that slide correct? Trying to see what I can do to avoid the P1. Are pump failurea common?

• A:Answer I have had this unit for exactly 1 year and 2 weeks. Installed today to use for the first time this season after proper removal for winter (drained and dry, stored in our spare bedroom on the second floor at normal room temperatures, not in a basement or attic where it could potentially freeze). All filters cleaned before storing and again before operation today. Fired it up, made sure it connected to wifi and was operating normally and I walked away. I came back to the room not even an hour later and I have the FL code. The unit is NOT draining properly on its own. I troubleshooted all available info to drain the unit and clear the code and I still get the same results after 30-60 minutes of use. I now have to unplug the indoor drain plaug with a bucket underneath to make the unit operate properly - like a dehumidifier with a constant dripping noise into the bucket and then of course dumping it. All online support options say to schedule a repair service if self-teoubleshooting doesn't resolve the issue. $400+ for this unit to only last one season and then need to pay a repair tech to fix their issues is ridiculous!!

Q: QuestionThe water “pinging” from fan throwing water against the condenser is so loud this unit is not usable. Installed exactly to specs, level to slight outside tilt, nothing helps. Outside drain plug pulled. It’s brand new. Ideas?

• A:Answer Same. I was sold on the ultra quiet aspect but it sounds like it’s raining outside it’s so loud. Drained three times already and I installed it today. Slight tilt to the outside as well and plug removed. Buyers remorse on that aspect no doubt.

Q: QuestionOverall this looks like a good solution for me but I can't tell how well it'll fit inside, can I get a breakdown of dimensions for the INSIDE portion of the unit, what depth clearance does it need inside? (10" height below window not a problem.)

Q: QuestionCan I operate my AC with the inside drain plug cap and filter removed without damaging the unit? I placed a big container under the unit to catch the water. I had to drain it every day and that's a real pain.

• A:Answer There is an internal pump in it that is supposed to pump the water to the back of the unit there shouldnt be any accumulation in the front of the unit. Your pump is probably plugged up. You would need to get it serviced or figure out how to clean it.
