Hi Rcoconut, thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience. We truly appreciate you considering this fantastic Profile dishwasher for your home and are happy to tell you more about these helpful features! This dishwasher is equipped with the convenient Delay Start feature that allows you to take advantage of off-peak utility rates and not conflict with your family's hot water demands. Selecting this feature allows you to delay the start of a wash cycle anywhere from 1-12 hours. Once the number of delay hours desired is selected, you can simply press start and close the door to begin the countdown. The cycle will automatically start once the allotted time has expired. - Connecting this dishwasher to the SmartHQ app allows you to monitor cycle time and status, receive a notification when the cycle is complete, lock and unlock controls, track detergent and rinse agent levels, receive alerts if a leak is detected, and control the chimes and tones! While you can do many helpful things using the app, it is not designed to remotely control the start and stop operation of a wash cycle.
