  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)
    • Operating Sound Level: 42 decibels adjusted (Today's appliances are pretty quiet. To get a sense for how quiet you'll need, think about having a conversation in the same room. • Child Lock: true (Setting that allows appliance to be temporarily locked to prevent use.)

Q: Does this unit come with the upper silverware rack? The GE website states this is optional. Thanks.

A: Mine did NOT! We didn't notice until install. Best Buy covered it since it was not stated on the website or ordering process. Management is aware hopefully and their website should state it soon.

Q: What delay start features does this unit have and can you adjust the start stop from an app?

A: Hi Rcoconut, thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience. We truly appreciate you considering this fantastic Profile dishwasher for your home and are happy to tell you more about these helpful features! This dishwasher is equipped with the convenient Delay Start feature that allows you to take advantage of off-peak utility rates and not conflict with your family's hot water demands. Selecting this feature allows you to delay the start of a wash cycle anywhere from 1-12 hours. Once the number of delay hours desired is selected, you can simply press start and close the door to begin the countdown. The cycle will automatically start once the allotted time has expired. - Connecting this dishwasher to the SmartHQ app allows you to monitor cycle time and status, receive a notification when the cycle is complete, lock and unlock controls, track detergent and rinse agent levels, receive alerts if a leak is detected, and control the chimes and tones! While you can do many helpful things using the app, it is not designed to remotely control the start and stop operation of a wash cycle. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause and hope that this helps to clarify. Please feel free to reach back out to us if you have any additional questions or would like to learn more. We are always happy to help! -Eliza@GEA

Q: Can you see how much time is left for the cycle without opening the door"?

A: Yes you can see how much time is left. It's a little tight, depending on your installation, but you can still see the timer on the top side of the door and can see how much time is left. I've attached a picture from a slightly older GE Profile Dishwasher where you can see the number of minutes left in the cycle. This is the same for the PDT775SYNFS model which I have in a vacation home so not near it right now.

Q: My dishwasher with a flush handle is located in a corner and a drawer slides open in front of the dishwasher. How far out does this dishwasher handle project beyond 24" in specs?

A: Hi - Thank you for reaching out to us. The depth of this dishwasher including the handle is 25.6". We do hope this helps. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA

Q: I purchased this in 2019 and it did not have built-in wifi despite being advertised as such. I was told I needed to purchase an additional device for wifi. DOES THIS HAVE BUILT-IN WIFI INCLUDED??

A: Hi there – We’re sorry for any confusion around your current model. Please reach out to us with your model number via phone at 1-800-626-2005 Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m. ET, Saturday: 8 a.m.-7 p.m. ET, and we’ll be happy to answer any questions. As for the current model offered here, this unit does have Built-In Wi-Fi. Thanks for reaching out. We’re always here to answer any questions you may have. -Gina@GEA

Q: I have an cabinet that is located on the side of this dishwasher. The cabinet has a pull handle. Will this hinder in any way in opening the dishwasher.

A: Are you replacing an old dishwasher and plan to install a new dishwasher in the same spot? As long as there is enough clearance for the dishwasher door to open and close completely on the dishwasher, it should not be an issue.

Q: I'd like to review the owner's manual. Can you provide a link?

A: Hi! Thanks for asking. If you'd like to view an electronic copy of your Use and Care manual, and Best Buy does not have this document available, you can find it on your model's product page on our website at the bottom of the page under the MANUALS AND DOWNLOADS section. We hope this helps! All the best. -Michael@GEA
