QuestionCan this be put into a pre-existing sleeve in my kitchen?I have a slip in my kitchen and I'm replacing an old one. Can I just slide this one in where the old one was or does it have to be mounted? Thanks

- Answer Hello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. I'm sorry, you would not be able to slide this unit on the same mounting bracket as your old microwave. The mounting brackets have changed over the years and are not interchangeable. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

QuestionDoes this have an external exhaust?We currently have model JVM1750 and want to replace it with a model that has an external exhaust. If the one above doesn't, which models do? Thank you.

- Answer This one (PVM9195SFSS) has an adjustable exhaust. You can vent to the back, up, or through the top face of the microwave. If you go with the last option they provide a charcoal filter.

- Answer Hello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. Yes, this model comes vented to the outside through the top of the unit. However, if necessary, it can be changed to be vented to the outside through the back of the unit or internally as recirculating. - Answer No trim kit. The microwave and hanging bracket is all you get in the box.

QuestionIs this profile microwave made by Sony?The description profile series 1.9 over the range microwave is followed by "Sony". Does Sony have any thing to do with the manufacture of this unit? How long is the magnetron covered as far as warranty?

QuestionWhat makes the interior easy to clean? Is it a regular smooth white porcelain-like surface? Also does the lip under the front edge of the microwave extend out under the control panel to direct heat from a gas range underneath away from the control panel?
