“Is the display always supposed to be lit up even when not using the dishwasher? I have a PDT760SSFSS dishwasher. The display is always lit. Is that normal or should it go off until I press a button?”

Hello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you with regard to the top control with color LCD display on this dishwasher. If you had selected the sanitize option, then at the end of the cycle, the "Sanitized" will be displayed at the end of the cycle until the door has been opened and closed or until any button has been pressed. Otherwise, the "Clean" will be displayed when a cycle is complete. This light will stay on as a reminder that the dishes are clean. I hope this is helpful! Thanks for checking with us!
