Hello verticallychallenged - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. The cabinet space for this dishwasher from the floor to the bottom of the countertop should be anywhere from 33-1/2" to 34-3/4". I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
