Hi Heather- Once the unit is in place, adjust the leveling legs. Turn counterclockwise to raise, clockwise to lower. Adjustable legs at the front corners of the refrigerator should be set so the refrigerator is firmly positioned on the floor and the front is raised just enough that the door closes easily when opened about halfway. See page 8 of the Installation Instructions at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60705-2.PDF - Thanks for choosing GE! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you just plug it in and push under the counter. Fits in a 24 inch wide space, same as dishwasher. Advise ordering and picking up at store. Mine was shipped to me and the first one was seriously damaged and second one had a small dent on the door. This is just a fridge, freezer is only to freeze small ice cubes. Holds a lot of stuff.
