“I need to know the height to the top of the dryer door... it must be 71" since I have a obstruction in front of dryer that may prevent me from fully opening the dryer door. Thanks.”

Hi Bob- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for checking with us! The height to the top of the dryer door is approximately 71-1/2"H (18-5/8" is the door height). From the floor to the top of the open door measures 71 5/8 inches. Because the top of the door is slightly curved the top at outer edge is 71 ½ inches. I am not certain but I believe the feet on this unit are adjustable for leveling purposes. This may allow for a reduction in the height of the top of the door but I am unable to confirm this.
