Can you buy applecare with this watch (refurbished)? null

No you cannot! I was misled by these answers. This is Geek Squad refurbished, not Apple refurbished and if the 60 Days from the original purchase (the one prior to it being returned or refurbished) has expired you cannot add Apple Care. This is very frustrating as I was anticipating being able to do so, but both Apple and Best Buy told me that it cannot be done.

I just bought one last week (refurbished) and I was able to buy apple care through Apple.

All Apple factory refurbished electronics qualify for Apple Care
