- Answer We're sorry for this, Eric. All Geeni devices are designed to only work for 2.4 GHz for a wider range, unlike the 5 GHz that cannot penetrate walls and floor. Since most routers today is a dual-band, you can ask your Internet Service provider to separate the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz so you can use your device. QuestionDoes it work with Amazon echo devices such as the Show? I'd like to use it as a baby cam and use it with the show device.

- Answer No it doesn't work for display. I was told after sitting on hold for 20 min that the only thing alexa can do with geeni is turn on and off motion detection.

QuestionI would like to place the camera inside my house, more specifically, in my kitchen window facing out towards the parking lot to monitor outside activity. Would this camera be good for that?

- Answer We really don't recommend installing the Geeni smart cameras in front of a glass window. The reason for this is, during night time the night vision of the camera will be activated. And it does not work through windows reliably because of passive infrared, which is used by most cameras that have night vision that detects changes in heat. Most glass used in houses today is insulated wiring, it limits the movement of heat through the glass. QuestionCould this be used inside a garage? The camera would be completely dry, but may face some very cold temperatures in the winter because the garage isn't fully insulated.

Yes, you can use the smart camera on your garage, however we do not have any assurance that it will work it may be possible that it is out of range from your wifi router and please make sure that the smart camera is not in any harmful elements like water, fire, and snow. QuestionI recently purchased a couple of Sentinel Pan & Tilt SMART WI-FI security cameras, model GN-CW021. When trying to connect to a 2.4 network, it keeps telling me that the password for my network is incorrect. I have changed, etc. and still no connection.

- Answer Hello Sean, Please proceed to forget your Wi-Fi network in your Wi-Fi settings, then reconnect to your 2G Wi-Fi network.
