David asked “Will the schedules still run if the wifi is down?” I think you need to learn how to read Arcane.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your answers are not insightful. The question is if a device will continue to be ON or OFF if the WiFi goes down. I presume they are dumb devices, having no program memory to retain a separate schedule. WiFi signals tell a device to turn ON or turn OFF. If WiFi goes down, devices will remain in whatever condition they were when the App goes down. The only other way any remote-control system could operate is if all devices are in constantly receiving signal from the App and only remain On if regularly instructed to do so. Your answer implies if WiFi goes down, all Geeni devices will default back to Off. Noone would design a system that way, unless they plan for a computer in constant operation to sustain a fleet of devices, with router dedicated to that purpose. If Geeni does behave this way, you have a very small market viability.

If the Geeni app is not running where the Geeni devices are set up, the Geeni devices will automatically stopped working as well.
