Will this work with 5g WiFi? null

Hi Julie! For our Geeni smart product it will only work through 2.4ghz wifi network. The difference between the 2.4 GHz band provides coverage at a longer range and 5 GHz band provides less coverage because it cannot penetrate solid objects, such as walls and floors.
