A:Answer Hi Jake, Unfortunately that is a complicated process, and require customizing the bike in other ways.
Like changing the rim to accommodate a smaller tire. The rim on our outcross is 80mm wide, and with a 2" wide tire only covering 52-53mm of the 80mm rim, it would not be safe or possible. If you were interested in getting something with less rolling resistance, I would suggest getting a semi-slick tire like the Vee Speedster in a 26x3.5" tire width or the 26x4" tire width. Swapping to a tire like this will require less input from the rider to keep them in motion, or accelerate from a stop.
