A:AnswerThe pre-filter can be rinsed, but not the HEPA filter itself. The ones I buy come with more pre-filters than filters, so there's really no need to rinse them out.
A:AnswerHad the same problem, eventually figured out that holding the timer button and either uv or speed button down at the same time for a few seconds got it working but not permanently fixed. Have to play around with the buttons each time.
