- Answer Dear Customer, Thank you for reaching out. Please note that on the GIGABYTE GAMING A16 laptop, the AI Power Gear feature automatically adjusts performance profiles to optimize battery life. When operating on DC mode (battery power), the system turns off the dedicated NVIDIA graphics card (dGPU) by default to extend battery life. This can cause the NVIDIA App to report that no NVIDIA GPU is detected. We recommend watching the following tutorial video for more details on how to adjust the power and graphics settings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqSvGxx7Wfk Once the laptop is plugged into power (AC mode) or the performance profile is set to “AI Performance” or “AI Gaming”, the dedicated NVIDIA GPU will automatically re-enable and function normally for gaming and other GPU-demanding applications.
