Yep, you have access to the google play store and I confirmed Microsoft Office programs, and Adobe can be installed. While the pixelbook is more tightly integrated with the google docs online site, the Microsoft Office App includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (Subscription required for this service). Adobe Acrobat Reader: PDF Viewer, Editor & Creator is the official app you can download to this device. Finally, for games - the majority of games you can search for in an Android device is available for ChromeOS. It's a matter of just searching for it. We love having the convenience of a laptop to do common online activity, with enough horsepower under the hood to run games. We were looking for a light weight computer for online schooling, with a backlit keyboard. A majority of the chromebooks that are under $200 are usually built with lower performing components, and less RAM. For the money, the amount of space and ram you get is worth it for future proofing. The front-facing camera is ok. It's not the greatest, but certainty not the worse. On a scale from 1-5, I would rate the camera a solid 3.5. And no; you cannot superimpose Zoom backgrounds with this Chromebook.
