• Indoor or outdoor? Indoor cameras come with power source, no extra cable needed. I am sure the outdoor systems come with necessary cables.

• This is a wireless camera. You just need a place to plug it in. The cable it comes with is pretty long.

• Nest is a wifi camera. You do not need any wiring. It works off an AC adapter and cannot be hard wired. As long as you have an AC outlet nearby, it can work anywhere in the house. I actually like it better than hard wired cameras for that reason.
